MOLE Course Refresh (01/08/2017)
These sessions are here to take you through the process of Refreshing your MOLE course for the coming term, using new templates and guidelines that have come out of the recent VLE Review. By the end of this session you will have worked towards preparing your course(s) for the coming academic year, and gone through the Refresh Readiness Checklist.
Introduction to Creative Media - 6 Week Course (07/08/2017)
The Introduction to Creative Media 6 Week Course introduces participants to a range of media skills, including video, audio and image manipulation. The course can be completed entirely online, or participants can choose to attend any of our optional workshops. Each week a new content area is delivered which includes a short online lecture, a task and a quiz. The course runs from the 7th August until the 29th Septemberand includes 2 weeks to catch up on any outstanding tasks.
MOLE Course Refresh - Follow-up Session (07/08/2017)
This 90 minute session is a relaxed and informal workshop to give a further opportunity to give advice and feedback to colleagues preparing their MOLE courses for the coming academic year. Members from the TEL Team are on hand to give feedback and support. This session is only for participants who have been to a MOLE Course Refresh session.
Introduction to MOLE (10/08/2017)
This will be an introduction session to MOLE which will cover orientation and how staff can begin creating their modules/courses, along with help and tips of good practice and how to meet the criteria of the Course Refresh checklist.
Getting Started with Turnitin and Feedback Studio (15/08/2017)
This session focuses on using the Turnitin and Feedback studio (formally GradeMark) tools within MOLE. In this session you will find out how to: - Set up a Turnitin Assignment - How to access students work - How to interpret originality reports - How to give marks and feedback to student work
